Once you get that sorted out, it should also be noted that the MC Progression add-on module will crash the game on startup every time, on any patch level, unless both the MasterController and the StoryProgression base mods are both present as it's designed to be a bridge between the two mods. If you have no interest in an Origin controlled game (like many of us don't), then just say no to those offers. It's admittedly a huge download, but it allows you to patch a retail disc install up to a 1.67 in one step and then the download can be deleted. Anyway, that's really old news now and only 1.67 and higher are assumed for all NRaas mods. Since the base-mod is not an injection mod, in order to override the existing in-game interactions and call the modified version of CAS, you must have the Integration module. No TS3 mod developers would have had 1.54 to work with. MasterController is smart enough to initiate the correct CAS mode depending on the species of sim you have chosen, allowing you to use the 'Stylist' interaction on any sim. That is the one that came with the IP retail disc but it was superseded by 1.55 just as they were going to market. I’m running a PC with Win 11, I’ve installed the game via CD (s) and updated Sims 3 to v1.01 if that helps at all. If I disable all CC with only the MC mod, the program simply stops responding. Our strong recommendation is that players patch up to the currently supported levels - for a retail disk install, that would either be 1.67 (no Origin involvement) or 1.69 (Origin managed). None of the NRaas mods, including only the Master Controller will make it past the loading screen before crashing. I'm afraid the the current versions of most NRaas mods are not going to work for you on Patch 1.54 if that's really where you are at.
